It takes us all to make it happen!
Without the generosity of our donors, we could not do what we do. Our wonderful volunteers are here to make it happen, but we need funds to do that. Donations for Rockport-Fulton Good Samaritans come from varied sources. We receive a large portion of our funds from local foundations, individuals, and churches.
Food donations also make a difference at Good Samaritans. We receive donations from individuals, food drives, and those choosing to complete their Community Service by providing food.
It is always a wonderful surprise when we receive gifts through the Good Samaritans Amazon Wish List, and that happens often. Sometimes the tables in the conference room are covered with items delivered. Those days feel like Christmas!

We can accept donations in several forms:
This year Coastal Bend Day of Giving will be November 14, 2023, and Rockport-Fulton is proud to be one of the 54 participating charities. We are excited that this year’s match will be $22,200. That means that we will receive matching funds for donations up to that amount – if we receive donations totaling at least $22,200. We need your help to make that happen! Donations will be accepted online at the Coastal Bend Day of Giving website (http://coastalbenddayofgiving.org). The opportunity to give begins with early giving on November 6 through November 13 and culminates on November 14 – the Day of Giving. To ensure that you are donating to Rockport-Fulton Good Samaritans, type Rockport in the search box, and then select Rockport-Fulton Good Samaritans from the Rockport charities. Amazon Wish List:
Needed items are listed in the Amazon Wish List which is updated frequently with items that we need. The list opens on Amazon in your account. Orders can be delivered directly to the Good Sams address. The gift card is our only way of know who donates the items. Please include your name and address on your gift card, so we can thank you properly for the items we receive.
Monetary:
Cash donation can be mailed or delivered to our Service Center at 507 South Ann Street, Rockport, TX 78382.
Food:
You can bring nonperishable food items to our service center. We always need peanut butter, canned goods in pull tab cans (standard size preferred), canned meats and tuna, canned salmon, canned vegetables, canned chili, Ramen Noodles, and boxed pasta.
Other Items:
Other items may be accepted as a donation. Please call (361) 790-9828 or email us to determine whether we can accept your gift.
Memorials:
You may honor a loved one with a memorial donation. Acknowledgement will be sent if contact information is provided.
